What is my statement balance?
The total balance due can be found on the bottom right hand corner of your statement. This balance only includes claims that have been processed by your insurance or other payor source. There may still be pending claims that are in process with your insurance carrier.
Can I make payment arrangements?
Of course. Simply call the patient accounts department (417) 761.5199. We would be happy to mail you a payment agreement form.
Can I make a payment over the phone?
Yes. We can accept all major credit cards by phone at (417) 761.5199.
I paid my co-pay at every visit, but I am still showing a balance…why?
An explanation of benefits form is mailed by your insurance carrier to both you and Burrell, and this often provides your explanation. Common reasons to still have a balance, even though you have paid your co-pay include an unmet deductible, co-insurance, or services that are not covered by your policy.
Do you have discounted rates for self-paying clients?
Yes, we offer a 20% discount if services are paid at time of visit.
