Lisa Baeza, MD
Dr. Baeza earned her medical degree from The University of Iowa and completed her residency in psychiatry at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She is a psychiatrist at Burrell’s Outpatient Clinic in Columbia and also provides psychiatric services via Telehealth technology.

John “Justin” Blount, MD
Dr. Blount is a licensed psychiatrist at the Stephen’s Lake clinic in Columbia. He graduated from the American University of the Caribbean with his medical degree and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Margaret (Peggy) Brothers, ANP
Peggy Brothers, ANP, graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with her Master of Science in Nursing and is a licensed Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. Peggy practices in the Adult Psychiatric Clinic in Columbia and also provides services via Telehealth.

Heather Crank, MA, LPC
Heather Crank, LPC, graduated from Webster University in St. Louis with a Master of Arts in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is an outpatient clinician at the Burrell office in Sedalia and has experience working with families, couples, developmentally disabled individuals, employee assistance programs, probation and parole, and veterans.

Emily Crawford, Ph.D.
Emily Crawford, PhD. is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate from Miami University, and completed her post-doctoral residency at Harry S. Truman VA Hospital where she specialized in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and traumatic brain injury. She currently does a variety of individual assessments and counseling with adults in the Outpatient Clinic in Columbia.

Maryanne (Dede) Crone-Markley, MSW, ACSW, LCSW
Dede Crone-Markley, ACSW, LCSW, earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Kansas City and a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Central Missouri. Maryanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an outpatient clinician at the Carrollton clinic.

Sandra Dinan, MA, LPC
Sandy Dinan, LPC, holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Central Missouri State University, as well as a Master of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has experience in group, family, and play therapy and has worked with clients of all ages. Sandy is an outpatient clinician in the Columbia office.

Tina Drury, MD
Dr. Drury earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She also completed her psychiatric residency, fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Missouri, and a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics. She is a licensed psychiatrist at our Berrywood clinic in Columbia and has experience working with child and adolescent clients and in forensic psychiatry.

Andrea Earlywine, MSN, APRN
Andrea Earlywine, APRN, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a licensed Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, as well as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Specialist. Andrea works in the Berrywood Outpatient Clinic in Columbia.

Armando Favazza, MD
Dr. Favazza graduated from the University of Virginia with his medical degree and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Michigan. He is a board certified psychiatrist and emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri.

Mathew Gass, MSW, LCSW
Mathew Gass, LCSW, received his Masters of Social Work from University of Missouri Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is an outpatient clinician in the Sedalia office. His area of focus is working with adults, families and children, primarily through Cognitive Behavioral Techniques and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

John Golden, MSW, LCSW
John Golden, LCSW, graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with his Masters of Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is a clinician in the outpatient clinic in Columbia and has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Kristen Hayes, MSW, LCSW
Kristen Hayes, LCSW, holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Texas and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is an outpatient clinician in Columbia with expertise in group, family, and couples therapy, as well as working with clients with chemical dependency.

Stephanie Heimann, MSW, LCSW
Stephanie Heimann, LCSW, earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is an outpatient clinician at the Moberly clinic and specializes in child and adolescent therapy as well as group work for adult chemical dependency.

Jacquelyn Hostetler, MSW, LCSW
Jackie Hostetler, LCSW, is the Clinic Manager in Moberly and has a Masters of Social Work from Western Michigan University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works with adolescents and adults. Jackie has experience in couples and group therapy, specifically substance abuse group therapy.

Marlene Howser, MA, LPC
Marlene Howser, LPC, is the Director of Youth Special Services at the Child and Adolescent Clinic in Columbia. She graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Heather Johns, LCSW, is an outpatient clinician at the Berrywood office in Columbia and specializes in child and adolescent individual, group, family, and play therapy. Heather graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a Master of Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Catherine Johnston, MSW, LCSW
Catherine Johnston, LCSW, received a Master of Social Work from Missouri State University and is a licensed clinical social worker. She is an outpatient clinician at our Stephen’s Lake clinic in Columbia and has experience in medical social work and incorporates this knowledge in her practice at Burrell.

Rachel Jones, MEd, LPC
Rachel Jones received a Masters of Education degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2007. Ms. Jones has experience in serving children, adolescents and adults, while specializing in the administration of group therapy. Currently, Ms. Jones serves as Assistant Director of Youth Specialty Services in Burrell’s Child & Adolescent Clinic located in Columbia, Missouri.

Christopher Lee, M.Ed., LPC
Christopher Lee, M.Ed., LPC, holds a Masters of Education in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is trained in and has experience using both Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Parent Management Training (PMT).

Sandra Lillard, MSW, LCSW
Sandi Lillard, LCSW, earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She works at the Burrell Central Region Outpatient Clinic. Sandi does therapy with children, adolescents and families. She specializes in the areas of trauma, parenting, and anxiety and mood disorders.

Christopher Mawhinney, MA, LPC, CRC
Christopher Mawhinney, LPC, is an outpatient clinician at the Burrell Stephen’s Lake Clinic in Columbia. Chris earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri Columbia and has expertise/specializes in crisis management, empowerment, communication skills, assertiveness training, anxiety management, depression management, coping skill development for a variety of diagnoses, recovery following trauma, and substance abuse treatment.

Katherine Ottofy, MSW, LCSW
Katherine Ottofy, LCSW, earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a licensed clinical social worker. She is an outpatient clinician at Burrell’s Steven’s Lake Clinic in Columbia and has experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

Kristin Parkinson, MD
Dr. Parkinson earned her medical degree from University of Missouri in Columbia and completed her psychiatry residency at the University’s Hospitals and Clinics. She currently practices at the Adult Psychiatric Clinic and Outpatient Clinic, both in Columbia. She sees adult patients with a wide variety of psychiatric disorders.

Albert Shaw, MD
Dr. Shaw graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with his medical degree and also completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a licensed psychiatrist and currently practices at the Adult Psychiatric office. He also sees patients from Sedalia, Carrollton, Moberly, and Versailles by telehealth.

Bethany Sullens, MSW, LCSW
Bethany Sullens, LCSW, earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Bethany works at the Child & Adolescent Clinic as an Intensive CPR Therapist. Her area of focus is working with children and families, primarily through Parent Management Training and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Ahmed Taranissi, MD
Dr. Taranissi graduated from the Cairo Medical School and completed his psychiatry residency at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. He is a board certified psychiatrist and is currently practicing at the Outpatient Clinic in Columbia. His areas of interest are ADHD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and MDD.

Timothy Von Engeln, MSW, LCSW
Tim Von Engeln, LCSW, earned his Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He works at the Adult Psychiatric Office in Columbia and the Boonville Clinic. His current clinical focus is Motivation for Change.

Kim Yeagle, LCSW, holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She works in the Outpatient Clinic with adolescent and adults. She has experience in relationship and family counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and working with adolescent sex offenders.
