Given the many faces of autism, its complexity, and the ongoing evolution of our understanding about ASD, it is critical that a repository of knowledge be available to families, caregivers, teachers, and providers. The Center seeks to fill this need through:
Family and caregiver education and training, including information on best practices in diagnosis, treatment, and management of children with autism.
Interdisciplinary training for current professional and professionals-in-training, including behavior health professionals, physicians, nurses, therapists, teachers, and others.
Workshops and In-services
The Autism Center’s Education staff is available to do custom workshops and in-services for your business or school.
Autism is a complex topic and new information is constantly available. The Burrell Autism Center offers an educational series to help parents and professionals to have access to current information.
