Treatment decisions should be determined by those directly involved, including the child, the parents or family members, treatment professionals, teachers, and other significant figures in the child’s life.
The Autism Center provides information and education to help in decision making and treatment planning. This information and education draws on evidence based practices regarding the diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The Autism Center staff is committed to work together to coordinate care, with families, schools, universities, state agencies, physicians, and other health care providers in service of children with autism.
