Motivational Interviewing 2017

Itinerary

We are pleased to announce two spectacular workshops on the subject of Motivational Interviewing!

Motivational Interviewing Intensive 2-Day Training for Addictions

March 1-2, 2017
8:30 am to 4:30 pm (both days)
University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center

The challenge of change is common to the human experience. Motivational Interviewing is an evidenced based practice that focuses on building intrinsic motivation to build momentum towards change. This 2 day training will immerse practitioners in the world of MI through both didactic instruction and practice with feedback. This training focuses on the “Spirit,” or approach of MI, as well as the technical components including OARS and the Four Processes. While a workshop alone is rarely enough to bring about proficiency in a new skill, this training will provide a roadmap for those that seek to build their skills through continued practice. This particular workshop will focus more heavily on working with clients/consumers that are struggling with addiction.

March 9, 2017
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm FREE booster training!
University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center

Once you have had a week to employ the skills taught at the intensive two-day training, return for FREE this afternoon for some additional information to help you build your skills. This is a perfect time to ask questions that will improve your proficiency!
