Child & Adolescent Services
It is easy to feel overwhelmed by the amount of work parenting takes and the pressure we feel trying to
do the right thing for our children. Add in the stress of a child who is struggling with emotional or
behavioral issues and parents can feel a tremendous fatigue -- leaving them with even less energy to try
to help manage their child’s behavior. The whole thing can become a cycle of stress.

Specialized Services for Chronic Mental Illnesses
Individuals with chronic mental illness face enormous challenges. Not only do they have to cope with their
illness, but they and their families often struggle to arrange services from complex or unreceptive
systems. Whether the most immediate need is for housing, medical care or psychiatric medication, those with
chronic mental illness are often overwhelmed by the “rules” attendant to receiving quality care and services.
