Burrell’s Youth Substance Abuse treatment program is known for its practical, effective and evidence-based approach. We provide help for alcohol and drug-abusing adolescents, as well as their families. Our program features an abstinence-based treatment program model that focuses on the development of healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices. We teach:

Honesty rather than denial Approach rather than avoidance Logic rather than impulsivity Empathy rather than insensitivity Personal responsibility over victimization Every adolescent has exceptional individual strengths – our goal is to help identify and build upon those unique strengths. If you have a child aged 12 through 17 who is experiencing problems associated with substance abuse, we can help. Services are structured to meet a child’s individualized needs, and can include: residential treatment, day treatment, and/or outpatient services In addition to individual counseling, the program is enhanced with family counseling where parents are expected to participate, as well as group education and therapeutic recreational activities to promote healthy and positive social interactions. A subsequent face-to-face interview with one of our clinical team members will determine if your child will benefit from our substance abuse treatment services. Most insurance and Medicaid accepted.
