Burrell housing services provide structure and supports matched to each individual’s capacity for independent functioning. Residents with income contribute to the cost of rent and living expenses.

Burrell has many options for housing to support a variety of needs.

Independent Apartment Program
  • Apartments are leased in the community and near bus routes, stores and other services.
  • Community support specialists assist residents with community interactions, independent living skills and obtaining needed services and resources.
Transitions and Training (TNT)
  • Community support specialists provide intensive assistance to residents to ensure they are able to maintain this independent living style.
  • Apartments are leased in the community near bus routes, stores and other needed support services.

  • Two apartment complexes, Wilkinson and Gardine, provide one and two bedroom apartments.
  • On-site staff provide enhanced structure and support for residents and as needed assistance is available seven days per week, 24 hours per day.
  • Community support specialists help develop support systems, living skills, services and resources.

  • Congregate living with shared meals, household chores and same-sex roommates.
  • Highly structured program prepares residents for functioning in independent living environments.
