Burrell provides a mental health consultant, Dr. Seth Allen, for the Greene County Juvenile Justice Office.
Dr. Allen works with juveniles and their families in an effort to coordinate necessary mental health care.
For many young offenders, this is the first time they have been evaluated for mental health needs, which may
have contributed to their offender status. In addition, Dr. Allen works with the Juvenile Officers to assist
with their case conceptualizations and with the Juvenile Court to provide treatment recommendations.
Dr. Allen conducts a coping skills group at the Evening Reporting Center, which is a supervised alternative to Juvenile Detention.
For more information on the Juvenile Justice program, Dr. Allen can be reached at the
Greene County Juvenile Office at 417.868.4008.
