2021 Youth Mental Health Event & Reflection Walk

On Friday May 7,2021, Burrell Behavioral Health and the Burrell Foundation presented Burrell Remembers: A Youth Mental Health Event and Reflection Walk. This event took place at Schaible Lake on the beautiful grounds of Burrell Behavioral Health's campus in Springfield.

About the Event

Live Music, Food & Fun

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy live music from GEEZER, food (including complimentary custard from ANDY'S FROZEN CUSTARD and individually boxed food from NEIGHBOR'S MILL BAKERY & CAFE), and activities for kids. Activities include mental health wellness stations, self-care activities for kids (and kids at heart), a balloon artist, and more!

Reflection Walk

In memory of those we have lost due to mental illness, or in honor of those living with mental illness, you are invited to place a lantern onto Lake Schaible at the Burrell Behavioral Health campus. After lanterns are placed in the water, attendees will be invited to participate in the reflection walk around the lake.
