Group Therapy Overview
Although most therapy sessions aim to help individuals gain a sense of ease, autonomy, and control over their lives, the goal of group therapy is slightly different from the goal of individual therapy. Group therapy is recommended as part of a larger therapeutic strategy to help encourage sharing, bonding, and coping.
COVID-19-RELATED UPDATE: As of March 24, 2020, all in-person group sessions at all Burrell locations have been suspended. In their place, we have established the below COVID-focused, daily telephonic group sessions, which are open to our community.
