Our Response

The emotional and physical health of our communities are always the most important things to us, and we realize COVID-19 has the potential to have a great impact on both. Here is how Burrell is responding to the rapidly moving events surrounding this disease.

For NEW and EXISTING clients: Please call 417-761-5000 (southwest Missouri) or 573-777-8300 (central Missouri) for more information or to begin services. Our physical locations and Connection Centers remain open with the following safeguards for your safety and that of our staff.


At this time, we ask that all clients and visitors please wear a mask within Burrell facilities. Client access staff and service providers also are expected to mask when interacting with our clients. If you have a clinical reason why you cannot mask, please talk with your provider.

Visitor restrictions

At this time we have lifted all restrictions on the number of visitors to Burrell clinics. However, to keep our lobbies and service spaces as distanced as possible, please try to bring to your appointment appointment only those individuals necessary to your care (parent, guardian, etc.).

Monitor your health

All clients will be verbally screened upon check-in when they arrive for their appointment. If you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or the seasonal flu, including shortness of breath, fever, congestion, runny nose, sudden loss of taste or smell, body aches, etc., please call Burrell as listed above to reschedule your appointment or move it to a virtual format (telehealth or telephone) if possible.


Burrell strongly recommends vaccination against COVID-19 for its staff and clients. If you are interested in receiving the Moderna COVID vaccine, or a booster dose, please visit our Pharmacy page at www.burrellcenter.com/pharmacy.
